We LOVE Nature!
We are delighted to be able to offer our Nature Assisted Therapy programs for children (and adults). These programs will offer the opportunity to strip it all back and reconnect our minds and body with world around us.
Nature Assisted Therapy assists us with regulating our nervous system. Our 1:1 sessions are completely personalised, to meet clients where they are in their life journey, with Regulation and Interoception at the heart of how we practice.
Nature Assisted Therapy moves away from traditional therapy methods, out of the clinic room and into the real world, allowing us to express our feelings and struggles in an open space. This type of therapy provides so many options, it may be a nature walk, boosting endorphins and getting exposure to Vitamin D, or it may be sitting under the shade of a tree and observing nature.
This beautiful and flexible service is delivered by an Occupational Therapist or Counsellor, depending on suitability of goals and team capacity. A few of the goals we can help with include Social Interaction, Anxiety, Emotional Regulation, Depression and Low Self Esteem.

| N.B. We charge for the total time a Counsellor spends on activities to deliver a support, including Face-to-Face (F2F; in session with the client) and Non-Face-to-Face (NF2F; prep, packup, note writing) activities. For example a 1 hour NAT session might include 45 mins F2F and 15 mins NF2F activities, resulting in 1 hour charge of $156.16. If the time spent delivering supports varies from a standard booking or quote we will charge for the total time, but when possible will endeavour to provide advanced notice. | ||

Non-Face-to-Face Supports are important activities resulting from the delivery of specific disability support items. These activities must be permitted by the NDIS Price Guide and be pre-authorised for us to claim in your Service Agreement. Examples of Non-Face-to-Face Supports we will claim for include, but are not limited to:
